Simple Solutions for Busy Families to Earn at Home

Thursday, September 4th, 2008

Dear Family and Friends,

I want to share with all of you something I found about a month ago that will change my life.

As you can imagine, I’ve had a lot of time lately to reflect on the past 11 years as a parent, the past 12 years as a wife, and the last 35 years as me. I had some very sad realizations. If I hadn’t lived through my car accident last December, what would I have left for my kids and husband? They would have found a couple of unfinished scrapbooks, Baby Books that ended at age 2, school papers and keepsakes stored in boxes or bags all over the house. That is not the evidence of my life and love for them that I wanted to leave for my kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. I thought I was doing everything right as a parent. But I could see during my recovery that I was so busy being a hockey, dance, soccer and Girl Scout mom. The time I had left in the days were filled with part time work, part time classes and volunteering for too many things. I didn’t have the time to see and appreciate the little things. And neither did my kids.

In September, I was feeling better physically, so I started applying and interviewing for some part time jobs. Nobody ever called me back. Finally I went to the internet to search for a job. I know that most ads for ‘Work at home, Be your own boss’, etc. usually had a catch. I found this company and asked for information. I got some reading materials, a catalog and talked to a consultant in Delaware. Without even touching or seeing up close the products, I knew I had to do this. THIS is what I’m supposed to do with my life. THIS is why God allowed me to be hurt and broken, so that I would stop doing the wrong things and treasure what is really the most important part of my life, MY FAMILY. I became an Independent Consultant for Once Upon A Family.

I am so excited to share this experience with you. This company represents everything about family that I want to pass on to my children. I know you will leave here feeling inspired and motivated to do things differently. You will leave with some simple, unique ideas that can easily be shared with your family and with anyone’s busy lifestyle. You will also see our beautiful, heirloom quality products that preserve those cherished keepsakes and help celebrate the precious moments you will have with your family. It’s all about the LITTLE things that we can do now that become meaningful BIG things later in life.

Warmest regards,

I have SO much to offer working from home

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

I don’t know where to start when I talk about what Once Upon A Family has done for me!  Initially I fell in love with the products and the mission when I first heard about it. ME, the person who said those famous words to my husband, ‘Whatever it is I don’t have time to do it!’ Once Upon A Family is everything that I believe in. It’s like a glove that fits me perfectly, and keeps me warm and cozy! It was important enough to me that I MADE it work with my hectic schedule.

Since then, I have learned that I have SO much to offer other women with this opportunity. I love helping others feel empowered by the incredible feeling you get when you give women the tools to be the best mother, wife, sister, daughter, etc. that they can be. Seeing what our products and our programs do for women and their families is exhilarating.

I never knew that I was missing out on the friendships I have made through Once Upon A Family. It’s kind of like you don’t realize how much love you have to give to a second child until you have him or her! You think your life is complete, but then you see that you have so much more to give and to share. I cherish the friendships I have made and can’t imagine how my life felt full before them.” ~ Sally W

Business Opportunity: Products for Teachers to use in the Classroom

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

• “I became a Once Upon A Family Consultant not long after my first child was born. This was a phenomenal time to join such a great company because it helped me to start family traditions with my child in mind from the very start of his life. I knew which pictures I needed for my tradition books and was able to put his very first handprint in the Precious Handprints Book. Whenever I hear customers lament that they wish these products had been around when their children were little, I consider myself lucky that they are here for me.

I love being a Consultant for Once Upon A Family and sharing such fantastic products with others. It gives me a change from my full-time job as a teacher, but it compliments my career as well. I use many of these ideas and products in my classroom and they have changed many of the ways that I teach. For example, I use many of the Live, Laugh, Love Club ideas with my students in our character education program. They lend themselves well to the needs of my students. This has been a great addition to my classroom.

The thing that I find the most rewarding though is the way that being involved in this company and using these products has changed my husband’s involvement in the making and maintaining of our family traditions. He writes letters to our son, takes photos and records video, and helps to compile our family mementos. It is a great thing to watch.” ~ Julie N.
